Onion Crunch Review and Giveaway

Onion Crunch Review and Giveaway

Loeb’s Onion Crunch is a natural product.  Made from onions, floured and fried in palm oil, it has just the right amount of salt to enhance the flavor.  They just peel, wash, cut and batter the real onion. These onions are so crispy that I immediately started eating them right out of the jar. These days, I am looking at labels for ingredients that I recognize and like.

A lot of retailers today have set standards that Onion Crunch was happy to meet. This product is vegan. It is also kosher. Onion Crunch contains no trans fats or cholesterol. With low sodium, it is the perfect onion to add to your already fabulous recipes.

I really love these crisp, lightly salted pieces and snacked on them right out of the jar. I also eat some frozen dinners because I live alone and I added these to the veggies in the plate. It brightened up the meal with flavor and crunch. My daughter had to have my extra bottle for herself.

Now I bet you are saying, where can I get some of these?  You can go directly to their website to order. But even better, visit your local grocery store. Look for this cute, smiling face on the front of the bottle.

But my all time favorite is the Kettle Corn Tortilla Chips. They are so good. They really taste like kettle corn but have a great corn crunch.
I would recommend these Food Should Taste Good chips to everyone. They will be seen in my from now on. I am sold on these

Amy and Brian Coconut Water Review and Giveaway

Amy and Brian Coconut Juice Giveaway

I am not the most adventurous type but I do get curious about things. I had the opportunity to try some unusual and tempting juices. I was sent cans of Amy and Brian’s Coconut Water and Mangosteen juices pictured above.Next I had to decide which one to start with.
Amy and Brian Coconut Juice is nutritious. I don’t usually look for the most nutritious but I do drink gatorade occasionally for the potassium. Image my surprise when I found out that coconut water has electrolytes and five times more potassium per liter than gatorade or powerade.
Mangosteens are an Asian fruit known as the “Queen of Fruits”. They have a thick purple outer skin and a white sweet inside. The Mangosteen juices are all natural and are high in anti-oxidents. Anti-oxidents boost the immune system and lower cholesterol. Mangosteens are the primary juice in the Mangosteen juices. So with that knowledge in mind, I started tasting.

The small cans of Mangosteen were just the right size to start with. Passion fruit has high doses of vitamin A and C. Vitamin A helps the body to remove free radicals that cause skin and tissue damage, and it helps to improve our vision. Vitamin C helps to repair tissue, helps prevent heart disease and cancer and helps our bones. So I opened the Mangosteen with Passionfruit. It was the perfect blend and it was delicious! I gave it a thumbs up.

Next was the Mangosteen with Goji juice. Goji berries are also known as wolfberries. They come from a shrub and are native to China. They have compounds rich in vitamin A that may have anti-aging benefits. And aren’t we all looking for that?

I love pomegranate. My children love pomegranate. I was sure we would love this one. Pomegranate juice has vitamin C, B5, potassium and natural phenols. And they just taste good with their tart and sweet taste.

The Coconut Waters come with lime, with pulp or plain. Coconut water is the juice from a young coconut. It contains chemicals such as sugars, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, enzymes, amino acids, cytokine, and phyto-hormones. So grab a can of flavor, fun, and nutrition in a can of Amy and Brian’s all natural coconut juice and mangosteen. You will love it and your body will thank you.

So if you would like to try it, enter the giveaway below. Five winners will get a case of mixed Coconut Waters and Mangosteen (12 cans each case)

Beanfield Snacks

Beanfield Snacks
Beanfield Snacks are wholesome and nutritious snacks made with beans and blended with long grain rice to create delicious snacks that are loaded with double the fiber and protein of most corn torilla chips or potato chips. They are gluten-free, cholesterol-free, trans fat-free and preservative-free.
I received the chips shown to review. I had only eaten regular corn and potato chips so the taste was unique. I could taste the bean flavor in the first bite. I shared these snacks with my family. My daughter Becca liked the taste of the Nacho ones. Her fiance liked the Sea Salt and Pepper Chips. We also tried the others which included unsalted, with sea salt and pico de gallo. The crunch was great. They didn’t taste oily and were full of flavor. I love that they are better for you than regular chips because sometimes, you just have to have a chip. And these are crunchylicious!!!
My daughter Kari tried the snacks and this is what she had to say about it.
“I was glad to get a chance to try the new Beanfields chips. They are a unique combination of beans and rice, which make up a complete protein. Beans and rice, when eaten together, contain all the essential amino acids. As a vegetarian, I try to incorporate complete proteins into all my meals, and these are an easy choice. They pair well with a sandwich and a variety of dips.
The taste is very similar to other chips I have tried, such as the “black bean and quinoa” corn chips from Trader Joe’s. They have a different taste than regular corn chips- but I like them. The unsalted and sea salt are very plain and remind me more of pita chips, so they work best with a hummus or similar dip. The flavored kinds, like pico de gallo, are delicious on their own. I am happy to have found such a healthy alternative to regular chips. They are also great option for people with gluten and corn allergies.”

Once you try them, you will want them. Keep healthy and have fun.

Enter the giveaway below to receive your own Beanfield Snacks. There will be 5 winners throughout all the blogs listed below. Winners will receive 6 bags each in their choice of flavors.!

Conscious Box Review

I had been on vacation and before I returned home my conscious box arrived. I had never heard of it before now and this was my chance to review it.  I was intrigued. More intrigued was my daughter who was holding down the fort at my house.

I told her to open it and check it out. She loved it! She said that one thing I needed to mention was how good it smelled when she opened it. She said it was amazing!  It smelled like peppermint. She immediately found the can of peppermints that was part of the monthly box. She now wants to know how to get her own!

I explained that it was something that she could receive monthly. Or gift it to someone. She loved the idea. I think she is a new customer already and I haven’t even finished my review of the box myself. So obviously it sells itself.

I never tried aromatherapy products before.  I received an aromatherapy deck. It provides a guide to mixing oils and the benefits from these mixtures.  I am eager to learn more about the ideas this deck provides.  I am definitely a beginner and look forward to unlocking the mysteries of the oils and combinations they suggest. It came with sweet orange oil. Yum!

I loved the tea bags that were included.  Tea parties are a passion of mine.  Sweetener samples were included and I always wanted to try some of these.

Enzyme cleaners for floors.  I even received some eye shadow.  A large variety of items. Environmentally safe.  It was a treasure chest of samples and items that I would probably have never tried on my own.

The box is different each month so you don’t have to be afraid to order for more than one month.  I received the product quickly and look forward to receiving another one to compare it to.  And by the way, my daughters say that the squeezable applesauce is really good.
Next month will be the August ‘Back to School’ Conscious Box!   It’s going to have delicious, nutritious snacks, some  great daily alternatives, and tons of other really fun stuff that everyone will enjoy, making it an AWESOME gift for all students, including K-12 and college.  And yes, it’s great for students and non students alike, so you can gift it to anyone!  I am making my list now to send to. Just remember, you’ve got to order before the 6th of the month! This is the only legitimately healthy care package we’ve seen this year, and they’re going fast!

I am looking forward to the one for next month. Please check back and I will share the next Conscious Box surprise box with you. See you soon.
